I went to Red Cross but it was quite hard all morning as I felt drained and my legs so weak but I managed and when I had finished I went to collect a parcel from the Courier Post. It was Jon's glasses that he had ordered from China! They cost £150 and are rimless and go dark in sunlight. We were quoted $1200 (£480) over here. I just hope they are OK.
Did my shopping to save going out on Saturday to the supermarket but it was a real struggle. Got home for lunch and then did a few email and some ironing.
I took Totty out for a walk and met Viv with her dog, Poppy. We were walking around the park quite happily when another dog came tearing across the park and to begin with all was OK and then it suddenly jumped on Totty and its owner was across the other side of the park and not bothered, she was a young girl. I was hitting the dog with the retractable lead but it wouldn't get off. Viv very bravely pulled it off by the collar and dragged it over to the girl who had by this time started to walk across. I can't understand Kiwis and their attitude with dogs. Totty was OK but our walk was cut short.
Jon came home and I decided and other people had told me not to eat any fish till my symptoms were better so I cooked a chicken breast and Jon had fish and chips - I didn't enjoy mine! I really enjoy fish and we have it three or four times a week so that will have to stop for a while.
