We took Totty down to Rotary Park this morning and it was lovely and calm down there.
We then went out for coffee in Tauranga. The weather is still very nice and we were able to sit outside. We had a walk around the shops and Jon managed to find a bag with wheels to put his laptop in and use as an overnight bag. He thought it was very expensive but it is the best he has seen. When we came to pay for it the lady said it had 20% off and then when she put it through the till it came down to half price so he was very happy.
We stopped off at the local hairdresser and bought a set of GHDs for my 'late' Christmas present and they came with a free travel mat and bag and at $260 were the best price I have seen.
We got back for lunch and then Jon went to the gym and I read my book. I took Totty out for an early walk as we had to go out for dinner at 5.30 so that we could get to the theatre for 7.30 to see Miss Saigon. Really pleased with my GHDs.
We went to a Japanese restaurant and had a really lovely meal. We chose combined plates as we have never had Japanese food and did not know what to ask for, these plates came with a bit of everything and it was so good we will go again and will know what to order next time. I like the tempura vegetables best.
We then went up to the theatre and as we had front row seats there were no problems of not being able to see. We really enjoyed it and the music is lovely and of course I shed a few tears as it was sad.
We got back and had a coffee and Jon went to bed and I called my sister to see how Sid was. The news was not good and he is very ill. Barb seemed OK. What would I do without Skype!
