A rainy golf lesson

We had a lot of rain overnight and it was very windy.

Managed to get out with Tot before I went to the Red Cross. We had a few showers through the morning and I hoped it would stay dry for golf.

The shop wasn't very busy as we are still waiting for the stock to arrive from Oz. I did find a nice black jacket which is quite long and also a pair of brown ankle boots which are new and cost £1.50 and very comfy and don't hurt my bunion. The jacket looks like it has been packed for a long time so I will have it cleaned and it will be fine.

By the time I was leaving for golf we had steady, but light rain. However, by the time I got up to the golf course it was pouring. The lesson went ahead anyway and we all got very wet! It was not nice.

When I got back I had to change my clothes before having lunch and will need to wash my hair before I go out tonight.

Jon came home early and we were off out for dinner just before 6.00. We went to an Italian place and had a really good meal. I had salmon for my main and it was much too big so the waitress kindly put it in a little take home box and it will be nice in a sandwich tomorrow.

When we arrived at the theatre there was a very mixed audience from young children to very old people and not as many as I thought were t dressed in Abba outfits. The show was really good and all the audience were up singing and dancing. They sang all the best Abba songs and ended with Dancing Queen and Thank you for the music and now I have a very dry throat. We didn't get home till 10.45 - very late for a Kiwi event!

WEATHER
Woke up to some very wet weather. Cloudy all day and lots of rain about.
