Really enjoying golf lessons

I was awake early this morning so managed to get Totty out for a proper walk before I went to the Red Cross. Sadly, Sue, one of the ladies who started a few weeks ago and who was very nice, can't come anymore as she has to care for her brother-in-law, I will miss her as she was so friendly.

It was busy as usual and Bronwyn came in to return some jeans she had bought for her daughter and I gave her a refund which I later realised I should not have done, I should only have given her a credit note - oops. I think I might get my wrist slapped and I had better not do it again.

I went off to my golf lesson and we did pitching today and went onto the range. i can't believe how well I have got on with this teacher and I can now actually hit it a long way. The group of ladies are really nice too and we have been told that we can use the range and practice putting green over the six weeks we are doing the course so hopefully I can get up there one day.

Got home for lunch about 2.30 and watched Neighbours. The days seem much shorter now that I have to get Totty out early. It goes dark about 6.00 but it seems to make the day much shorter.

Jon got back from Wellington about 6.00 so we had our fish and chips at the usual time.

WEATHER
After a cloudy and cool start to the day the sun came out at lunch time and was out for the rest of the day. 18 degrees
