Went into Tauranga and sat in a street cafe for a coffee and it was so hot and humid I had to take my jacket off. This weather is crazy.
I went to the library to change some books and then went to buy a present to my friend's daughter who got married in Spain. After a long time looking around the shop I bought a white photo frame with some Maori symbols on which mean long life and happiness etc and I thought appropriate. The lady wrapped it very nicely, too.
I then went to do my shopping and got home for a very late lunch.
Managed to get Totty out between a few showers but still not fire weather.
Jon came in and said the power on his car had dropped on the way home and he had to drive slowly. He will need to take it in to the garage tomorrow before he flies up to Auckland.
Jane and Heather are driving up to Southport today for my brother-in-laws funeral. So proud of them for doing that as it is going to be hard. I hope it all goes well. This is when being so far away is difficult.
WEATHER
After loads of rain overnight it was very hot an humid today with the odd light shower.
