We haven't managed to get over the doorstep today as we have had torrential rain all day.
Jon's flight to Auckland was delayed so he missed his connection to Nelson and had to wait two and a half hours for the next one. He finally arrived at 4.00 but I was relieved when he rang as I was worried about all the weather warnings.
I did my housework and had to use the dryer for my washing as I have nowhere to hang lots of things so it is better to use the dryer.
Apart from housework I haven't done anything.
I called my sister tonight for a chat and now I am off to bed once I have made Totty go out for a wee in the rain which is very hard as she hates it!
WEATHER
A severe weather warning was given last night for heavy rain. It only stopped for about an hour all day, really heavy
