Part Two of Tuesday

Jon didn't get home for lunch as he had to go to a meeting near Hamilton. I made myself a nice salad and used some of the avocados we were given by Mark, he grows them and they are very big.

The owner of the house called round to collect a Sky remote she had left and told me that the grapes growing on the back fence are ours, we'll have a look at those later.

In the afternoon I did my ironing while watching the tennis. It is very hot in Melbourne, 40 degrees. I have made contact with a girl I was in hospital with when I was having Kirsty. She is now living in Queensland with her children and has settled well.

When Jon came home we took Totty down to the park, she really enjoys her evening walks and once I feel she is happy i might even let her off the lead to chase the seagulls! When we came back we checked out the grapes there is a huge crop there is they all ripen we could go into the wine business. They look like they have a while to go before they are ready to eat.

We had our dinner, some lovely pork steaks which had been marinated in apple juice and Manuka honey and were melt in the mouth. After dinner we watched some TV, a silly game show they have on here called The Rich List and is pretty terrible!

A cup of coffee and then bed.
