Well believe it or not I slept very well. However, I did wake up with bad tummy pains at 7.30. Went back to sleep and woke again at 10.25, pains better but missed breakfast. Jon had room service I had a cup of tea to be on the safeside and half a slice of toast.
Went out to the Towers shopping centre it is amazing and has every shop/boutique you could wish for even M&S it is air conditioned so it is very pleasant to walk around. Outside at the rear of the Towers are some lovely gardens with dancing fountains. Walking round the gardens we saw our second rat in less than 12 hours, we saw one last night while walking home ugh!
We visited the Towers Discovery Centre which was a hands on interactive place with a simulator helicopter ride to an oil rig, very cool. The lights in the centre had a very strange effect on my eyes and I started with a migraine and funny zig zags in my eye so we got out of there and went back to the hotel and guess what after ANOTHER sleep I felt ok.
This afternoon we walked around the town looking for the station to go to the bird park but it was very hot and after a long walk and not finding it we headed back to the hotel and found the station two minutes from our hotel! We had been looking for an overland train station and it is underground so it is up early tomorrow and off to the bird park.
Jon got the Internet access sorted out this evening so I have been able to contact home and update my blog.
We have just been out for dinner and went in the Summer section of a Seasons bar and it was very good. Jon had steak and I had chicken with orange sauce. It was beautifully presented and for pudding I had steamed bananas with thick coconut cream and a syrup yummy! It was then back to the hotel for coffee and finish the blog for the day. Goodnight. Not sure when I will get more written.
