I was pretty good really and the girls were amazing but it was hard.
The journey to the airport was fine and we made it down with plenty of time to spare. Jon left me with our boxes and cases while he took the car back.
We checked and weighed the boxes £380 and then had to take them to be x-rayed in the arrival hall. The woman there was pretty fierce when she found electrical wires and a battery on the viewer and wanted to know why it was not on the contents list - I had forgotten to list my alarm clock and epilator oops. We had to open the box up and take it out to show her what it was, then list it and stick it all up again.
We then had a cup of tea and a sandwich as I was actually hungry for the first time in ages.
We checked in with no problems and then just had to sit and wait. Jon had something to eat and then we boarded the plane and took off at 10.15 all pretty easy really.
