My brainwave
I emailed a lady in Mount Maunganoui (from hereon I will just call it the Mount like the local do) who holds dog obedience classes and agility classes as I am trying to find a way to get out and meet people. She kindly replied today and tells me she is English and has been over here since 1965. Her group meets on a Thursday and hopefully when it starts in February I will be able to get Tot and I on it. I have given her Totty's details and I am now waiting for her to get back to me. I also called a lady in Welcome Bay, just a few minutes drive from here, and she too is English and has been here for 30 years. Her first dog was sent out by ship and it took her two months to get here and she was fine so I hope Totty will be fine after her long flight this week. This lady has classes on a Wednesday but she has a waiting list so not sure if we will get on that. Poor Totty she is going to be shattered with all the walking and two exercise classes a week! Although Totty is well behaved her manners could be improved on so I am hoping something comes of it. And it's a start.
