It is pretty easy driving around Tauranga and places are easy to find. In the centre it is also easy to park. We found the cinema no problem and bought our tickets and then went off in search of something to eat. A lot of sushi bars, a Turkish kebab place and Chinese then we found a tiny little Italian which looked OK. It was one of those places where you bring your own wine but they did have a small selection of their own and also beer.
I ordered a four seasons pizza and Jon had the lam cutlets. It was one of the bet pizzas I have ever tasted and although I could only manage two slices we will certainly go back there when I get my appetite back. The owner is Italian and his wife is a Kiwi and a very pleasant couple.
I really enjoyed Australia and felt my tears were justified. It was very long and we both had numb bottoms when we came out. It finished at 11.05 and we were back home at 11.20 having walked back to the car, too so not too far away.
