Looks like Totty is very much better now and had another good night last night.
I had a phone call from the vet again today asking how she was so they must have been as worried as I was.
Jon took his car in for a service this morning and I went to collect Margaret and we went to Gate Pa as I needed some knitting needles. I only bought one pair as they were five pounds!! I will have a look in the Red Cross later for the others.
We then went for a coffee before going out to McLaren Falls Park and we had a lovely walk around the lake. It is so lovely and peaceful up there.
I came home and made lunch for Jon and I and then went to the Red Cross to take some things that I had cleared out as they have been in my boot for a week. I managed to find two pairs of knitting needles for 50c - bargain! I had a chat with Sharon about the wedding she went to at the weekend and also saw Raewyn, another lady I used to work with.
I drove across to the Mount Red Cross to see Carol as I had two cushions in my car for her garden furniture and I also asked her if she could cut the bottom of a cotton dressing gown for me and run the machine along the hem. I don't want to have to pack my heavy dressing gown in my case as it will take up too much room but I will need a dressing gown in UK until our container arrives.
I then went to buy some contact lens solution and cancel my account with Spec Savers so they don't bother people with reminders. I bought a few things and also put a notice up on the supermarket board about Jon's car.
Jobs done I went home and we had a cup of tea.
We had a bbq tonight but we remembered to put on the mozzie spray before we went out. Another lovely evening.
We watched some TV and I did some knitting and then I rang my friend in the UK as she is going to let the builder in to our house as Heather can't sort out a time to fit in with him. We would like to get a quote so that we can start the work as soon as we can once we are back.
A quick drink and a read of the news online and now off to bed.
WEATHER
Sunny 23 degrees
