I trapped the corner of the dog's blanket in my bedside table drawer last night so when she got up at least the cover stayed by her bed and I did not have to get out and grope around the floor looking for it! Was much better.
It was dry this morning but looked overcast and not the sort of weather to hang out washing so it had to go on the maiden in the spare room again!
Jon left to go to a meeting and I got ready to go and meet the ladies from my aqua class for lunch.
There were about 15 of us and the teacher came though she looked so pale and all you could see were the freckles on her face, poor girl but it was nice to see her. Lunch was lovely and they told me to choose what I wanted as it was all paid for. Such a lovely lot of people I have met here.
We finished lunch about 2.00 and I went to see Carol at the Red Cross for a few minutes before going home.
Jon was home and we sorted out some plants on the deck and brought in the sunshade and put the base to be washed as it all needs to be clean before packing. I had just made a cup of tea and he had a call to go and meet someone.
I was just about to do the ironing, not much to do, and I remembered I had promised to take a heater over to my friend who wanted to buy it so I went over to Maungatapu.
When I got back Jon had been back and gone again to a dinner meeting down at the Mount. We are like ships that pass in the night at the moment.
I did the ironing and caught up with Neighbours and then caught up with The Paradise but still have three to watch and a few of Doc Martin but think I will mange.
Jon came home and we had a hot drink and now it is raining again so looks like I won't be able to hang out the washing tomorrow either.
WEATHER
