I have lost count of the times Totty wakes me at night now to put her cover on and find myself automatically searching around the floor in the dark to find her cover and putting it back on and she goes back to sleep but thankfully, last night, so did I.
Woke this morning and got ready for the shop and left the house just before 9.00.
Les was not in the shop but rang later to say she was going to Auckland so would not be in at all.
The shop is very quiet at the moment and I am not surprised as the stock we have in is not worth hanging up as it is so old and tatty, not the usual standard we have been used to.
Les rang me to say she wanted to buy my car as I had sent her a text with all the details yesterday so that is good not as much as we wanted but as we are leaving the country it is difficult to hold out for more.
Lara left at 11.00 and I had my coffee break and then Sharon had hers and we just about managed to keep ourselves busy.
The girl who was due in at 1.00 when I leave didn't turn up and when Sharon called her she said she didn't know that she was on but couldn't come in. I had to leave as I had a hair appointment so Sharon was left on her own but the manager said she would come in.
I had my eyebrows tinted and said to Beth that I don't think I will ever have a view from my hairdressers salon like this one as it is so pretty.
I then had my hair done and finished left at 3.00.
I went to the fish shop at the port and bought some fish and then to the supermarket and finally got home, very hungry at 4.00!
We had a cuppa and a hot x bun and then I had five minutes sleep.
The couple from Nepal who have bought some of our things rang to say they would like the car but can't pay the full price for it. I told them my friend wanted it and they said if she backs out they will still buy it so at least I have a back up but for even less than it is worth.
We went out for dinner down to the Mount and had a lovely meal. My pizza was so big I could only eat half and they wrapped up the rest to bring home. I also had the most delicious cup of de caf coffee.
Got home and feel really tired so off to bed now.
WEATHER
Cloudy with sunny spells 23 degrees.
