I could get used to having these late mornings especially when it is as cold as it is in the mornings at the moment.
We had a nice long phone call from Heather this morning telling us all about her trip to Barcelona. She certainly had a good time with some lovely meals out including suckling pig and snails. I guess this means that when I get back and cook for her there should be no complaints and requests for pasta all the time!!
She has an interview tomorrow and I hope she gets the position.
We went up to Greerton and had a coffee. We found a table in the sun and it was lovely and warm.
We then went to pick up a spare part for Jon's car - the cover for the back windscreen wiper which disappeared!
We came home and I did some jobs and then we had lunch.
I had a nice card from Jane and Jason and copies of the scan photos of our grandson. Such clear pictures these days. When I had scans of the girls you had to have a good imagination to make out a baby!
I spent the afternoon sorting out all the things Jon brought home from his office the other day and packing where they are supposed to be. If I do all these little jobs now when we get the go ahead to go home we can get onto it ASAP.
Not sure where the days go at the moment but they are passing by quickly.
I made dinner and then we watched TV and I did my knitting. I am now a third of the way and just started the second ball of yarn. This is certainly a labour of love. The knitting is easy but it is very heavy on the needles and makes my fingers ache.
Jon has a man coming from Australia to see him tomorrow. He is the man who arranged the trip to China when we went a few years ago. Hopefully, they can do some business together. I am going to the cinema.
WEATHER
Sunny 24 degrees with a cold wind.
