Got back to a normal day today and went to my keep fit class this morning. The ladies there are so kind and were very concerned about Jon and how I was coping and gave lots of offers of help which is lovely.
I then went to the surgery to collect the rest of Jon's prescription before going to a café to buy him a coffee and a muffin to take back to him.
I got home and we sat outside in the sun which, despite the wind, was lovely. Jon stayed on the deck while I did some housework.
I made lunch and then later on I went to my aqua aerobics class. There was quite a chill wind blowing across the pool but the water was 34 degrees so very nice.
There was a huge group of school children in the pool and so when we started our class they all joined in behind the sectioned off part where we have the class. Towards the end when they were fed up doing the exercises in the pool a group of them got out and stood by our teacher and carried on. It was very funny to see them but they really enjoyed it. I told them they need to be doing it when they are 60 or 70 like most of us in the pool.
I came home and had made the hot pot which Jon had put in the oven so I didn't have much to do for dinner so got on with some knitting.
We had dinner and then watched TV. Jon had sat out on the deck this afternoon while I was out and I am glad to see he has a bit of colour back in his face as he has been looking very white.
He is doing well and eating well but the drain is still not clear so we presume the hole has not healed yet.
