Monday

It was really cold this morning and I didn't want to get out of bed!

I spent the morning doing housework and Jon went to the library and the post office and a coffee of course.

It was a lovely sunny day but the wind was cold. It made me get a move on with my cleaning, there is nothing like vacuuming the house to get warm!

We had some lunch and then I started a new pattern for a baby beanie. Lions are asking for new born knitted or crochet clothes for the prem baby unit at Tauranga hospital. This hat had some stiches in that I have never heard of before so I had to Google them to find out how to do them. What would we do without Google. The hat turned out very well, I just need some ribbon to thread through it to finish it off.

We took Totty out for a walk and the wind was very cold and we were glad to get back into our cold warm house!!

We had dinner which was simple, plain food tonight as we don't want to upset Bertie who has a big day tomorrow and we hope he behaves. Jon is nil by mouth after 7.00 tomorrow morning so he will be up early to have some breakfast. It will be a long day for him as he is not due in till 12.00 and then we don't know where he will be on the list, I hope he is not last as he is not very patient.

We watched some TV and then it was bedtime. How the days fly over.
