Monday

I got back into my routine this morning and changed the sheets and did all my washing and a lovely day to get it dry.

Totty has been scratching like mad and I have checked her for fleas and not found any but I did today so had to treat her again with Frontline even though it is not four weeks since the last lot. I think being in kennels and with other dogs that she gets them. I need to keep her clear of them as I don't want her to have them when she gets on the plane or she will have a very uncomfortable journey.

Jon managed to find some jobs to do around the house well, mainly sorting things in the garage but it kept him busy.

I needed to send a parcel to my cousin's daughter for her baby so we went to the shopping centre and had a coffee first.

I went to buy a card for the new baby and then we went across to the post office where I bought one of the plastic envelopes to send it in. As I was writing the card I realised there was no envelope in the cellophane packet. I couldn't leave the post office as I had started to write on the plastic envelope that I had not yet paid for (they do let you do that here) so I had to send the card without an envelope. When I looked the pen I was using, gel type, was rubbing off on the plastic so I had to find a biro and go over the letters what a disaster!!

We got home and I started to do a few things around the house and then we had lunch.

I set to and did ALL the ironing I had and watched Neighbours - I am down to 13 episodes now. I had all the horrible things to iron that you leave at the bottom of the pile. There were also all of Jon's work trousers that have been hanging up waiting to be ironed and the last time he wore them was March. I should be ashamed of myself!! All good now though and nothing left to do even the shirts I washed today are all done.

I cooked a curry tonight for dinner and it was yummy, not very hot but very tasty. Bertie seems to have liked it, too which is a big plus.

WEATHER
Sunny and 16 degrees
