Sunday

We took Totty out this morning and forgot the umbrellas and it started to rain as we got down to the park so we headed back. Just as well we did as a few minutes later the heavens opened and it poured down.

We went across to the Mount for coffee and then went looking for a companion set for the fire. We found a few but didn't really like them. We bought a piece of artificial turf in the hope that Totty will do her toilet on it and we can wash it off. I don't think she likes the concrete and so always waits till we get out onto the street and then I have to pick it up and carry it back with me. We will give it a try and see what happens.

We have been looking for suncream that does not stain your clothes but can't seem to find any.

Got back and had lunch and read the Sunday papers. Found a companion set on offer but the shop is in Auckland but we can order it online, so much nicer than the ones we have seen.

Took Totty out this afternoon and managed to miss the showers.

Cooked some really good roast pork and manged to get the crackling crisp by putting it under my new mini grill. I could have done with some Paxo though! The stuffing here is not as good as Paxo.
