I woke up to the phone ringing and heard Jon answer and it was Kirsty to wish him a happy birthday.
I got up an showered and then Jon went off to work. Took Totty out for her walk and it was so sunny and clear and so not like it was last winter - so far.
I went to meet Les for coffee and she told me the pool was very cold this morning so I was glad I wasn't able to go to the class. We sat for ages and put the world to rights as we always do. Main topic around was NZ drawing 1 -1 in the first game of the World Cup, they are so excited her.
I then went shopping at the Mount and bought Jon some pressies for his birthday, a T shirt, an All Blacks keyring and some All Blacks golf balls and Ts. I then went to Classic Flyer's to meet him for lunch. It was so hot and sunny we were able to sit outside and enjoy our BLATs.
I then went o Bayfair to buy a few things and then on home to sort out the packing.
I took Totty out and met Peter and I checked with him what duty free they want us to bring back before going home to continue packing - I really don't like packing!!
Jon came home and he opened his cards and presents and liked them and we finished the packing before having a lovely dinner.
Heather phoned and it was lovely to chat to her. She will need a few weeks to settle into life again in Newmarket and it will be hard for her.
Now it is off to bed and then off we go in the morning, soooo excited!
Looks like a good day for flying tomorrow.
WEATHER
A really lovely day, sunny, clear blue sky but with a nip in the air.
