I took Totty out as Jon had a hair appointment for 9.30, I had mine at 10.00.

My hairdresser was running late and didn't start on me till 1020 so of course I didn't finish till 11.20. I was to meet Jon in a cafe and so had to call him to tell him I would be late. By the time I got there he had nearly finished his coffee but it was so warm in the sun we enjoyed sitting outside.

We then had a look around the shops for a light showeprrof jacket for Jon as it is the rainy season in Thailand and I think he might need one, I already have one. We couldn't find anything in Tauranga so he went over to Bayfair and I went to buy a piece of pork for Sunday dinner.

We got back more or less together and had a very nice smoked beef sandwich for lunch.

Jon went to the gym as he has a new programme to do and it is much harder. I sat and enjoyed watching Dancing On Ice - I love that programme and we get the results show straight away so no waiting and with Sky Plus I can whizz through the ads too.

As Jon was late getting back it was dark and so I ended up taking Totty out in the dark as I hate her missing her walk.

I cooked beef stroganoff for dinner followed by tart tatin and it was very good but the beef very rich. I felt too full to go to bed till much later than Jon.
