We had a nice chat with Heather this morning and that was the highlight of the day really.
I went to get some coffee for Jon and then I went to take his cushion back to the Occupational Health so that they could sort out the valve and stop it deflating. I arrived at 11.58 and was told the technician had left as he only works till 12.00 and he has a day off tomorrow!!! I now need to take it again on Monday.
I did a supermarket shop and then back home just as Gill arrived. She changed the dressing and will not come again till Monday.
After lunch Jon went for a sleep and I went to take the recycling.
I went to see Margaret on the way back as I had picked some oranges and lemons from next door and took them to her. We had a cuppa and a quick chat.
I got back and made Jon a cup of tea and then brought the washing in.
I cooked a nice steak for Jon tonight and he said it is the first meal he has really enjoyed since he came home.
I spent ages taking off my Shellac nail polish which has been on since before the wedding.
Jon made himself his Ovaltine tonight and then went to bed.
Not the best day of my life. Looking forward the the Red Cross tomorrow and some conversation.
