Jon had to get up early this morning to start his medication for the bowel prep. It was a much better medication than the last time and was taken in three glasses of juice, twenty minutes apart and by the time I got up he was watching the Grand Prix and didn't have any bad side effects.
Heather called and we had a chat and then I had breakfast before putting the dye on my hair.
The day has passed slowly as Jon has not been able to go anywhere. I did my washing and went to the supermarket to get a water filter and some Lucazade and fizzy drinks for Jon as that is all he is allowed. I made him come chicken noodle soup for lunch but it had to be strained but made a change.
Jon watched TV and I did the ironing - I still haven't caught up from our trip.
I felt very mean making my dinner and only had leftovers from last night so that there was not much cooking smell.
Jon had to take the second bottle of bowel prep. I think he will be starving by Thursday when they say he will get his first meal!!
We had a nice email from Kirsty and James this afternoon with two photos. They are having a good time and just wanted to wish Jon well for tomorrow. We have had so many emails it is amazing.
He had to have a shower this evening with some special shower gel and again in the morning.
He has now gone to bed to read and it is closer to the loo.
On the whole he has been OK today we just need to get through tomorrow.
