Friday

I was up early today as I needed to wash my hair and get ready. I did all that but didn't manage to get Tot out before I left for the shop.

Jon wanted a shower on his own this morning - without Bertie - and I needed to be around to help him once he had finished. I can't believe Jon's skin is not sore from the patch on it all the time but it seems to be fine.

I left for the shop and we had a busy morning and lots of chatting with Sharon and Les which was nice. I found a couple of nice summer tops and a few bits to send to the UK.

I left and came home and Jon seemed a bit happier as Mike had called round with a coffee for him and had stayed chatting for a while. I just wish we could get the cushion to stay up as that would at least allow him to sit on a chair.

I had lunch and then phoned the vet for Totty as I felt she had an ear infection and she has. We now have drops to put in twice a day and hopefully that will sort it. He said it was this time last year that she had the seed stuck down her ear so I hope it is only an infection!!

We saw a man cutting the grass at a house down the road and he is going to ask his boss to come and give us a price for doing ours as it is getting long now and Jon says I won't manage it.

I made some little cakes and some biscuits this afternoon and we had a cuppa.

We had fish for dinner which was nice and then watched TV.

I am really tired now and need my bed.
