We were forecast to have full sunshine today but they got that wrong, too. It was warm but windy and cloudy. So not as good as first day of summer should be!
Jane called this morning and we had a nice chat and caught up with how the conservatory is coming along and they sound well and happy.
As it was the first Sunday of the month we went out for breakfast over to Papamoa garden centre. The breakfast was good but not very hot so a bit of a disappointment but Jon went in and told them it was cold before we left. If you don't let them know they won't improve.
We then went to buy a cane for one of our tomato plants which is a bit like Jack and the Beanstalk!
We got back home and decided to try and get Totty out for a walk after all, it is her birthday!! She was not too bad and I didn't have to pull her too much.
I spent the afternoon doing some ironing and watching TV. Jon had lunch but I was still full of breakfast so just had fruit.
We had a cup of tea and shared a scone and then we had dinner inn the evening pitta bread with lamb and feta mmmmm! My kind of dinner.
Watched some TV and now it is time for bed.
