I forgot to set my alarm last night and didn't wake up till ten past seven so jumped out of bed and straight into the shower before Jon came up for his shower. I hate doing that!
I had my breakfast and made Jon's lunch and he left for work.
I had an email from Kirsty to say they think they will be moving on Tuesday so we need to get all the utilities sorted out but they sound like they have everything in hand.
I had a FB chat with Heather and she told me James had managed to connect the washing machine so that is one job done. I now need to buy a new vacuum cleaner as I told J&K they could have ours. There is so much choice. I think I will go to the shops here and have a look at a Dyson and hopefully they will be the same models.
I finished my housework that I had started yesterday as Patricia was coming for a rehearsal of out Thursday night song for the Christmas dinner. I am sure it will be a disaster but hopefully a funny one.
Totty has found the place where the hedgehog sleeps which is under the house in a corner which is blocked by a big shrub. Totty can't get under the house as it is all blocked off with trellis but she is trying to dig her way under and I am being kept very fit running down the stairs to get her out which I have to do with the mop or sweeping brush as I can't get through the shrub. However, one good thing came of it I found an outside tap. We have always thought it strange that there was no way to water that part of the garden unless you have a very long hose. Well now I know why, it has only takne us a year to find it.
Once Patricia left I tried to take Totty out for a walk but we only got as far as next door and she would not go so I gave up.
I went into Tauranga looking for something to black out our teethe for this song but I couldn't find anything.
I then went down to the port and bought some fish for our dinner.
Back home I made some lunch and then did some crochet it was too hot to do anything else. I managed to keep Totty in the house and away from the hedgehog for most of the afternoon - I am sure the hedgehog was relieved, too.
Jon came home and was going to go for a walk but it was too hot.
I went into the garden and cut the shrub back so hopefully the next time Totty tries to get the hedgehog I will be able to get her out without using the mop.
We had dinner and watched some TV and now I really am going to have an early night tonight!
WEATHER
Sunny with some early cloud 22 degrees.
