Tuesday

I was awake so much last night it was really annoying so much so that this morning when the alarm went off I could quite happily have stayed in bed.

I had my shower and painted my nails once Jon had left for work. I had my breakfast and got all my things ready for swimming this afternoon as I would not have time to come home after lunch and get back to the pool.

I went to my keep fit class and it was really warm and I found that I ran out of stamina after about 45 minutes and the leg raises are not quite as high as the beginning of the class. I didn't stay for a coffee as I needed to get back.

I had a shower and washed my hair and had just an hour to get ready and made it in time.

I arrived at the golf club, which is very nice, and went in to a very nicely set out room with a glass wall at one end giving lovely views down the greens.

Our lunch was lovely and so cheap for what we got. $24 and we had a beautiful ham carved at the table, chicken cooked with apricots, roasted asparagus, new potatoes and a lovely selection of salads plus bread rolls. Dessert was Pavlova with cream and strawberries and mince pie and ice cream, tea or coffee and it was all delicious. Gaye, one of the ladies in the class, is wonderful at organising things and she had made a bag of truffles for all 45 of us! A really lovely lunch.

I popped round to see my friend Carol who has had an operation on her legs so couldn't make the lunch. We had a cuppa and a chat and then I left to go to my aqua class.

Carla looks bigger than ever poor girl and still has six weeks to go. She has another two weeks of work and then is off till April. I will really miss her classes and not sure who will take over from her.

On my ay home I stopped off to buy some contact lens solution and saw the shopping mall decorated and it looks very nice this year.

I got home and Jon was home. He went out for lunch today so that I didn't need to cook a meal tonight. I made a Spanish omelette, we haven't had one for ages, and it was very good. We sat and ate it on our knees!!!

I fell asleep watching the television and woke up to do my blog and am off for another early night. Not sure why I am so tired these days. I need a holiday!! Lol!
