Friday, Saturday and Sunday

I lost my profile again on Friday and couldn't log on so Jon has had to set up yet another new account for me. Unfortunately, I hate the way he has set it up and don't know how to get back to my old one. He has set me up with Chrome which I hate and Outlook which I also hate. There is nothing that puts me in a bad mood like messing around with the computer. I knew what I had as my favourites and they have all gone and now I have to do this silly bookmarking and everything is taking twice as long as it needs to. He can't see why I am cross with it as he uses Outlook and always has but I don't and I can see it is going to annoy me till I work out how to get back to the way it was as that is what I like.

Anyway back to the blog which is going to be short as I am really not in the mood.
Sunday
A very lazy day today and I didn't go out for coffee with Jon as I was due to go and do the collection for the hospice at Fraser Cove so I went over there for 12.00.

It was very busy there and we collected a lot of money and it is so nice to see all the baubles on the trees with the messages on for people who have died.

I came home at 2.00 and had lunch and then read my magazines which I have got a bit behind on.

Jon was really tired today and his tummy was sore as I think he probably did too much yesterday so he took it easy this afternoon.

We had pasta with chicken and artichokes for dinner and it was very nice.

Now I am going to see what I can do with this computer!

Saturday
We went into Tauranga and did some shopping and had a coffee.

We got back and Bronwyn came round with her settee which she wants us to store over the holidays as her daughter and grandchildren are coming to stay and she needs more space.

We had lunch and then Jon spent the rest of the afternoon assembling the bbq which went well until he was on the last bit and he could not get one screw to go in and it was so hot on the deck even though we had the sunshade up and he got all hot and bothered. We did finally get it finished and then he sorted the table and made up two of the chairs just in time for our bbq.

We had a nice bbq with pork and haloumi and courgette kebabs. I am cutting down on the meat to see if that helps Bertie.

WEATHER
Very hot and sunny 26 degrees.

Friday

Friday I went to the Red Cross and it was pretty quiet.

I left and met Jon at the photographers to look at our photos. He took lots but there are only a few that we liked. Unfortunately, the ones of Jon look very stiff and false and he is covering his left side in most of them which makes it obvious that he has the bag. He just won't leave it and nobody can see it but he thinks they can. We chose some photos that they will put in a frame but it won't be ready till the New Year.

I came home and had lunch and Jon went back to work.

We had fish and chips for dinner.

WEATHER
Cloudy spells 24 degrees.
