Monday

I had to get a move on this morning when I got up as I had a lot to do so no time for sitting on FB!.

The computer is all back to normal now. I knew he could sort it for me but he was trying to make me use Outlook and I don't want to! Lol! I like what I know!

Heather rang and we had a chat about utilities and Sky and she will get it sorted now that J & K have moved out.

Jon left for work and I got stuck in to my housework, washing, changing the bed and cleaning. I also made truffles to give to some friends for Christmas.

I took Totty out for  a walk and found my sunglasses with her lead. If she was more willing to go out for a walk I might have found them before I bought a new pair. Never mind. She was good today and walked all the way without me having to drag her.

It was really hot doing the housework but I had to get it done as it is my last chance before we go away as I am busy for the rest of the week.

I stopped for lunch about 2.00 having just washed all the floors so a good time to have a break.

I caught up with Friday's episode of Neighbours but saw it was the last one as they now have a break for Christmas and it was  a real cliffhanger but at least I won't have a week's worth when I get back.

I had made the truffle mix this morning and had to shape them and I have to say making truffles in 26 degrees is not a good idea as they melted all over me.

Jon came home and then I got on with making dinner - tuna fishcakes which were very nice. Lighter food is certainly better for Jon.

We watched some TV and then when it had cooled down I ironed the sheets and made the bed.

We were told we would have thunder last night and again tonight but so far nothing. They have had some very bad thunder storms in Auckland but so far we have been lucky. It is certainly very warm this year compared to previous years.

I bought some books for my ereader today ready for out trip and I am now well stocked up I just need to remember to keep charging the battery or I will be left with nothing to read.
