Tuesday

I woke at 4.30 this morning, Jon was snoring and I was coughing and I could not get back to sleep. I hope this goes away by Saturday.

I am feeling so cold here and I haven't really packed many warm thing to wear. I am like a granny when I sit down as I have a fleece blanket over my knees. It doesn't help hearing from people back in NZ saying how lovely the weather is there for the time of year! I think it might just be me though as Jon is not feeling the cold but neither has he been wearing his shorts!

We went out for a coffee with Kirsty this morning and then into M&S and Jon bought some jeans and I bought some warm tops. I tried to buy a long sleeved nightdress but couldn't find one as, of course, it is summer! Then to Boots for a few bits and then home and that was as much as I could do.

Jon made the lunch today and later he went for a suit fitting and none of it fitted so they have to get another in and it won't be here tillSaturday, all his padding he has to wear. He also went looking for a car for August.

Kirsty went to collect the dresses and it has been raining since so she can't get them into the house! Things are not going well.

I cooked dinner for Jon, Kirsty and I as Heather was still at work.

I have been trying to order food for Sunday but M&S don't deliver on Sunday so Kirsty has found a caterer just up the road from here and I will give them a call tomorrow failing that I will just have to go and buy things on Sunday morning. I wish I could feel more enthusiasm, maybe all the travelling has caught up.

I need to go o bed now.
