Sunday

Not a bad night apart from the annoying cough which even Jane heard as they were in the room above us!

We all went down to breakfast about 30 of us and had a very nice morning and the sun was shinning what a pity it was a day late!

Heather left to go to the christening of her friend's baby as she is godmother.

After breakfast we all said our goodbyes to everyone going to Cornwall and back up North and we packed the car and went home to get ready for the bbq. We stopped off at Waitrose to buy rolls for the sausages and a few other bits.

When we got home Sami, Heather's friend was at home and also Malcolm so we all went out for a coffee.

The lady that I had ordered the food from came just before 2.00 and it was all OK, pretty basic but not bad and hopefully, thanks to Anne and Kay, with the lovely pasties from Cornwall and the sausages it would be enough.

Heather came home and said the christening was good but she wanted to be back home before Sami left to go back to Stoke which she did but not till later.

People started to arrive with four more than I had known about so I was a bit worried about food but it was fine we had enough. James had bought jumbo sausages and I had bought little rolls!

We were very lucky as it was a lovely day, sunny and warm and we were able to sit in the garden.

People gradually left and it got cooler and we lit the chimena and sat outside till very late. James' family were the last to leave about 11.00 or so and then it was bedtime.

WEATHER
Sunny 21 degrees
