We all went out to the Pantry for breakfast which was very good even though they forgot to put the bacon on the plates! It is a small café/deli that opened last August and is doing so well they have extended into the next shop so had been closed for four days. It is doing really well and was very busy.
Jane left to go to have highlights put in her hair and Jon left to take the car back to Bury.
Heather drove me over to Bury to pick Jon up and then we went to Tesco and then to Curry's to buy a small TV which Heather can use but will eventually go in the family room.
Kirsty and James went to the beer festival in Bury.
Heather left to go to Wembley to see Muse and I went over to see Rene. She is getting very forgetful and repeats the same thing over and over poor old lady. She doesn't have much of a life as she can't get out on her own and when she is taken out to go to the doctors she can't walk far. No wonder she says she wants to die!
When I got back I had a phone call from Jane telling me she ha put the wrong date on the hotel booking form for Gatwick! She put Friday down and when she phoned them they told her they had no rooms so she lost her money £150 for dinner, bed and breakfast and parking! Fortunately, the parking will still be OK. Jon said he would pay for them at another hotel but we could only get one 14 miles away so they decided to stay home and get up early, 5.00, and drive on Sunday morning. I feel so bad for her.
Jon, Kirsty, James and I all went out to the Turkish restaurant for dinner and we had a really lovely meal. I love Turkish food it was sooo good.
Bertie was very busy once we got home but he was OK through the night.
WEATHER
Overcast but with some sun in the afternoon.
