Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

I couldn't write more on the previous post so will continue here.

On the whole the flight was good, a bit bumpy over  Afghanistan but nothing much. The food was all very goo but far too much when you are just sitting don nothing but watching TV. I watched Les Miserables again and as all the lights were out I could cry as much as I wanted and I did, what a lovely film.

We arrived on time and got to the gate at 7.05 and as there were no queues at immigration we got through very quickly and were standing looking for our taxi at 7.20! He arrived after about 20 minutes as he had got stuck in traffic.

We got home about &9.45 I think so not bad.

Lovely to see the girls but as it was late Jane and Jason were not there. We stayed up far too late chatting.

We were sleeping in Heather's room till our bed arrives on Monday so it was all a bi messy and not being able to find things but it will do for now.

SATURDAY
Jane, Kirsty, Heather and I went for the final dress fitting and she looks lovely. Jason took Jon to pick up our hire car - a mini! A toy for Jon to play with!

After the fitting Heather and I went shopping to Cambridge and then to buy bedding for our bed. We got home to find the hairdresser sitting outside the house waiting to colour Heather's hair.

Jon came back and we went supermarket shopping. I find the UK supermarkets overwhelming, too much choice compared to what we get in NZ.

We all had dinner at home and J & J came over and we drank too much. James was leaving for a trip to Poland and Kirsty and I were still up when he left at 2.30!

I was putting washing in the machine at 3.30 when Heather came in, she thought I had gone mad!

SUNDAY
I woke at 8.00 and felt like death, why did I do it?

We had to get ready for the hen do so I just got stuck in and got on with my stupidity!

It was a lovely afternoon but Kirsty and I were a little subdued and I could not eat much and the thought of a drink - ugh! I did enjoy cuddles with my friend's four month old granddaughter and her two and a half year old sister. I just hope I haven't passed anything nasty on to them.

Once everyone had left we cleared up and Jon came back from watching the Grand Prix at Jane's

Jason came round after work and we all watched TV and they ate leftovers. I was so cold Heather gave me slippers, socks and a blanket. I started to cough and my grot felt bad and I was beginning to think this was a little more than a hangover.

Jon and I had an early night.

Bugger just lost all my typing including all of Monday so I think I will start a new post blog spot obviously dislikes long posts!

WEATHER
Cold, showers 10 degrees max!
