So many boxes and bags!!

I slept so well last night and didn't hear Jon up at 3.00 as Bertie needed attention!

We started moving boxes and cases and clothes and goodness knows what else this morning and we didn't stop much for the whole day, well I didn't Jon had to as he was feeling very tired. I am going to have muscles that will be the envy of Miss Universe!!!

I really don't know how we have accumulated so much in only a year. Jon thinks I have far too many clothes and he is probably right but I have to cater for various sizes!!

It is all looking on target and now we only have the big furniture to go over and a few bits and bobs.

My friend, Carol, has kindly said she can help me tomorrow and we are very grateful. Hopefully, once the furniture is out we will just need to vacuum and that will be it and then I won't need to come back here.

The gardener came today and cut the grass so it is all better outside now than it was when we moved in.

Fortunately, the builder did not come to work here again today so I think he must be waiting till we have gone and then he can knock through to our bedroom and the one downstairs and he won't be upsetting anyone.

I had been bidding for a sideboard on Trademe (Kiwi eBay) and the bidding closed at 7.00 this evening. It was very exciting as I was competing against another lady but I did finally get it and hopefully it will look good in the house. Now we just have to find someone to collect it for us. It is new but I think it is from a water damage insurance claim but we will only need it for two years or so and I am sure it will be fine for that. I could get hooked on this auction business!!

Poor old Totty doesn't know if she is coming or going. She has seen the suitcases out and packed but then we come home so she is a little anxious.

I am off to bed now before I fall off my chair!
