I could hardly believe the clock this morning when I woke, it was 9.00 that was a lot of sleep and I felt much better for it.
After the late start and Bertie was even later than us we finally managed to get out at 11.00 for a coffee.
We went down to Classic Flyers, near the airport, for a coffee and sat out in the sun and it was lovely after being in our cold sunless house this morning.
After coffee we went along to the Good Food Trading shop, which has been re branded 'Nosh', and I bought some pork for dinner and then we went home.
We spent the rest of the day doing odd jobs around the house and packing up things. I took tot out for a walk and the day just passed by.
So far, Jon has had no reaction to the chemo tablets. I am not sure how long it will be before he gets any symptoms.
I cooked the pork and it was very nice. I had bought some tiny new potatoes on Friday which we had and they were really good. We don't often find 'new potatoes' here in NZ like we do in the spring/early summer in UK so they were a special treat.
We watched some TV and then it was bedtime.
I am so excited to be collecting the keys for the new house tomorrow. I keep thinking something will go wrong and we won't be able to move in. Paranoid!!!!
