Dentist!!!

I was up early this morning and had made a cake before 8.00 as Bronwyn and Alison were coming to tea and I wasn't sure how much time I would have later.

Heather called for a chat this morning and managed to catch Jon before he went to work and then I had a quick chat but I had a dentist appointment so needed to go into Tauranga.

After the lovely weather yesterday I though we were in for more of the same and so I put a dress on but when I got outside it was so cold but too late to change!!

I went to the dentist and he said he needs to remove one of my fillings as it is old so I made an appointment for next week. He is so nice and gentle and always cleans my teeth using a hand scraper as opposed to the electric on which I hate. so now I have to hope it is over fast next week - I hate the dentist even if he is nice!!

I had a coffee on my way home and also went to the bank and nearly froze waiting to cross the road.

I got home and took Tot out and the sun had come out and it was really warm.

It was then time to go to my Pilate's class which once again was very good. As from next week it will be once a week on Mondays.

I did a few jobs around the house and had lunch and made some cupcakes for Jon as the cake I made this morning has nuts in and he can't eat it. Bronwyn and Alison arrived just after three. I showed them round the house which they liked very much. We were out in the garden when I realised Totty had got out again so I had to run round to next door and get her back. I thought Jon had found the hole but obviously there is another.

We went in and had tea and cakes and a chat which was nice.

Once they left I went to find the hole in the fence and found a small one but big enough for her to get through but not anymore - I hope!!

Jon came home and we watched the news and I did a bit of ironing and then we had dinner and watched some TV.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow as I have nothing planned and can do what I want but all at home - bliss. I think I am going to have to slow down as I am not getting enough time in the house and I still have boxes to unpack.

I started to write some Christmas cards tonight and the letters I need to go to friends who are not on email. I need to think about shopping sometime, too as I have nothing yet and I need to anything I buy posted by the end of next week!!

I am looking forward to my bed now.
