I think we are going to have to ask if we can put curtains up in our bedroom as it is so light in the mornings, I hope they will allow us to do so.
I cooked bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast and we ate outside thought it was a bit chilly and we didn't longer.
I hung some washing out and I do have to be careful I don't fall off the step when hanging it out.
Heather called and it was really nice to speak to her and find out all about her shopping trip to Lakeside.
I took Tot out for a walk. I went down the street and away from the Maori end as I am not sure what the dogs, and I am sure there are some around, are like. Going down and back was more than enough for Totty anyway.
We went out for coffee and then went to buy some cushion pads for the outside furniture and the carpet for the lounge. It all seemed to take so long and Jon is not good shopping these days as he cannot stand for long.
We got back home and I made lunch and then Jon had a sleep. I did more unpacking and sorting - one day we will be straight. I can't believe we now have so much stuff considering we came over with only eight boxes from the UK.
I read an email from my sister in law telling me about the terrible time Jon's niece has had having her baby, really scary and I am glad she is on the road to recovery, pre eclampsia is a terrible thing and it must have ben so awful for them all but I am glad Lou an baby Isla are now both safe and well.
I cooked steak and salad for dinner tonight and it was really good.
We had an email from the owner asking us to take a key over to the old house and leave it under a stone for the builder tomorrow. That was 7.30 tonight just as I was cooking dinner!! I am afraid the answer was no. We said the builder can come and collect one in the morning. So silly as we were at the house today to read the meter and could have left one then. Does he think we have no life??
I have finally managed to sort all my clothes out. I really need to throw some out and stop buying so much at the Red Cross.
Off to bed now for a bit of a read and then sleep.
WEATHER
Cloudy but warm and the rain never came 19 degrees.
