Totty woke and needed to go out at 6.00 this morning and it was very cold but I did manage to go back to bed for an hour.

I had a call from an architect who is drawing up the plans for the new garage on this house. He needed to come and check out some measurements and came later on but he didn't need to come inside so I didn't see much of him.

I took Tot out for her walk but being bin day it was difficult to make her walk as she doesn't like the noise of the bin lorries and we have three or four different companies and the council and they all collect on the same day.

I then went down to the post office to post some clothes that Heather had left behind $26!! I am sure the tops didn't cost that much!

I spent the rest of the day at home and did some ironing and washing and general housework and caught up at last with Neighbours.

Jon called and said he is fine but finding the days long. He went for a walk around the lake and managed to go the whole way round today - it was blocked yesterday as a big tree was being cut down. He said he goes back to his room after dinner and watches a DVD. I think he should try and stay in the lounge and find someone to talk to but he says he is fine. His treatment tomorrow is 11.45 but they have told him they might get him in earlier and then he can get off home which he is really looking forward to. I will have to make him something nice to eat over the weekend.

I have a hair appointment after the shop tomorrow and we are going out for dinner and then to see a hypnotist show down at The Mount.
