A day in Rotorua

We all managed a little lie in this morning which was good.

The first thing Tot did when she got up was sit by the dishwasher and was not even interested in her breakfast so not sure if the mouse is still there or not.

After breakfast and dog walking we finally manage to leave the house at 10.00 - only an hour later than we wanted to!! We left Tot sitting looking at the dishwasher not sure how long she will stay there!

The drive to Rotorua was fine and it was such a lovely day again. We stopped at Okere Falls for coffee and sat outside where Jane got sun burnt on her arm and it was such a sheltered spot we had to move as it was too hot! The coffee and muffin was good though.

We arrived at the luge and went up in the gondola, had a look around the shop and then went on the luge and as usual it was great fun. However, in the wooded areas under the trees there was a definite nip in the air. I only had one ride, Jon had two and the girls had three.

It was by this time very late so we went to the Fat Dog for lunch and ate far too much. We then had a look around the shops and I bought some slippers and Heather bought some boots and shoes.

Jon wants us to have a new computer and so we were looking at some which had good deals on but we will buy it here in Tauranga.

We got home and had a cup of tea and then Jon went out to buy a mouse trap but the shop was closed.

I made the dinner but we were not really hungry after so much lunch so a bit of a waste of time.

We watched some TV and then they all went off for an early night and I am just about to go, too.

WEATHER
Sunny 19 degrees
