I woke at 7.00 after a good night's sleep which surprised me.
I had made arrangements to phone Sonia this morning but it was so cold when I woke up that I got the phone and stayed in bed while I phoned her. We haven't spoken for ages so we had a good catch up which was very nice.
Of course, it was then very late when I had my shower and washed my hair and I hate being late!
I had done a load of washing last night so got it all on the line before I had breakfast.
I don't really know where the rest of the morning went apart from walking Tot I can't see that I did much.
I made a bean and tuna salad for my lunch which will probably last me for three days.
I had an appointment to have the Shellac taken off my toe nails and a pedicure. I also had a voucher for an eyebrow tint and shape at the same place so I went off there at 1.30.
It was a lovely pedicure and I had a lovely foot massage with it. I have never had my brows tinted or shaped in a salon and they do look very good and the wax didn't hurt as much as plucking does.
I then went to the post office to post a drill to the owner of the house, he had left it in the garage and wanted it sent to him. I also went to buy some birthday cards as it is a busy month for me.
I got home after taking the plastics and newspapers to the recycling station and we now have a very clear garage.
Jon called this evening before he went for dinner and we chatted about our individual days. He had been out for a walk around the lake and had a coffee. His breakfast was just cereal and toast and lunch was a salad with ham so not too heavy. He had done some work and then walked to the hospital for his appointment. He said it was very cold and cloudy over there and said he will need to take his gloves back with him next week as his hands were cold. The temperature in Hamilton last night was down to 0 degrees and our lowest was 8 so a big difference.
Jon finished our chat to go and have his dinner and I cooked a bit of fish for mine and then watched some TV.
WEATHER
Sunny 17 degrees
