Sunday

It rained really hard last night but it was much brighter this morning than the forecast and it was really warm.

Jon watched the Grand Prix this morning so we were late taking the dog out and so late going for coffee. We sat in the sun and found it really warm after the last cold week we have had.

When we got back I hung out the washing , read the papers and then started on my ironing and watched TV while I did it.

We had some lunch and then Jon continued to make the filing cabinet and then put all our papers away in it.

We left to go to the cinema at 3.30 for the 4.00 showing of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. We didn't think it would be busy but the cinema was full and we were lucky to get seats near the back as I can't see at the front. We really enjoyed the film.

When we came out we went across to Collar and Thai for dinner and had a lovely meal but the portion were very big.

We got home just before it started to rain and as it was still early we watched a film we had recorded a while ago. The Last King of Scotland which was about Idi Amin's regime, very interesting but bloody!!

We haven't needed to light the fire tonight as it has been so warm today, long may it last!

WEATHER
Overnight rain, sunny spells 19 degrees.
