I had a little lie in this morning, well, 7.45!!
Jon and Heather had left by the time I got into the shower, seems really odd for some reason being in the shower and the house so quiet.
During the morning I managed to get four loads of washing done and hung out on the line and two clothes dryers but I am not looking forward to ironing it all.
I managed to get a lot of my housework done this morning, too. Jon and Heather were late home for lunch and so I only saw them for a few minutes as I had to go out for an eye test. My eyes don't change now but they did tell me the price of contact lens has come down which is very nice.
I did a bit of shopping and looking round for cards and had a cup of coffee and then took the cardboard, plastics and papers to the recycling centre before filling up with petrol on the way home.
After giving Tot her tea I collected all my washing from the line and staggered back in to fold it all before taking Tot for a walk.
I got back and got stuck in to the ironing while watching Dancing on Ice.
Heather came home and we caught up with another Neighbours so we are only two behind now. Jon came home very late due to an accident which had blocked the road near Bayfair and wanted to watch the end of the Grand Prix so we couldn't watch more Neighbours.
I made Macaroni cheese for dinner but found it very heavy but it is one of Heather's favorites.
Heather has now decided to stay for the full year. Not sure what has brought it about but they did say that they had missed her a lot in the office when she was away. I also think she is more settled and feels happy at work now, enjoys netball very much and is making and being able to save a lot of money. If she went back to UK in August it is nearly the end of the summer and who knows if she will get a job so I think she will stay. She needs to be sure by 27 July as that is the date on her ticket and she is allowed to change it once for free but will have to pay to change it again. If she does stay Jon and I are going to need to start living our lives again as we used to. We seem to have put everything we do on hold since she arrived and whilst I am not complaining I do miss golf!
WEATHER
Sunny and bright 15 degrees
