I managed to get Tot out for her walk before the binmen came around this morning.
I went to keep fit and stayed for a coffee and then popped into the supermarket for some fruit and veg.
When I got home I did some cleaning that I hadn't managed to get done yesterday and the morning seemed to fly by. I made a spaghetti sauce as Heather wants lunch as she is going to the cinema tonight.
J & H came home and had lunch and I seemed to have an awful lot of dishes to wash, it is a lot of work doing main meal at lunchtime especially as it was only for one!
The Avon lady called around and we had a chat and when she left I took Tot for an early walk.
When I got back I showered and got ready and painted my nails and was ready to go and pick Janice up at 5.30 for Lions. It is the changeover night and our new board is voted in. I am going to be Tail Twister and really wish I had not said I would!!!
The meeting was better than I was thinking it would be and being MC was not so bad. I am now Tail Twister which means I have a part to play at every dinner meeting. Our dinner was really good again but the puddings, all three of them, even better!!
I was given a cake with a candle on it for my birthday.
Got home and had a chat to Heather who had just gone to bed. She has a date tomorrow night but doesn't want me to tell Jon. I hope she doesn't get to like him too much and want to stay forever! That would cause me a real problem!!!
Jon has booked Jane and Jason's tickets and they come on 1 September but only for two weeks, Jane is now really excited.
