After all the rain over the last two days it was lovely to see the sun this morning.
Jon and I took Tot down to Rotary Park for a walk and it was beautiful down there and even better as we were the only ones. Days like this in 'winter' are a real treat and make us realise how lucky we are to live here.
When we got back we packed up the car with the recycling and got ready to go out for coffee. Michelle came to collect Heather and they went for walk up the Mount.
There is a new Coffee Club cafe opened up at Bayfair and we went there for coffee and it and the muffin was very good.
Jon is doing well with his contact lens and so now needed some sunglasses so we went off to buy them and I got some new reading sunglasses as mine are so old and out of date. Not sure how Jon is going to remember what he should be wearing between his normal glasses, lens, sunglasses and I don't know how many other pairs he seems to have!!
We then bought some suncream and then went to buy a chicken for dinner and then off home.
We had lunch and then I did some ironing and got all the washing from the line in and ironed while I watched Dancing on Ice.
Jon and Heather went off to buy some reef shoes. You need them in the islands as there is a lot of coral and lots of spiny little fish about.
I sorted out clothes with Heather and we are more or less there now and will just need to pack on Tuesday morning. Hopefully Jon and Heather will finish at 4.00 and we can be on our way by 5.00.
My tooth is still playing me up though not as bad. I really do think it is my tooth and and not my face and think I will continue with the antibiotics just to keep any infection away and maybe go for a second opinion when we get back. I can't eat on the right side of my mouth and it is sensitive to heat but cold is good. I have read so much on the Internet and my head is full of things. One thing is for sure I am not going to have any root canal work done, I would prefer them to take it out than have that.
WEATHER
A sunny morning and cloudy afternoon with occasional sunny spells 19 degrees.
