I really don't like my GP

Jon went straight to a meeting in Rotorua this morning so didn't have to leave till 8.30 so Heather had to drive herself to work today.

It was certainly worth having the fire last night as the house was so much warmer this morning.

After taking Tot for her walk I went off for my doctor's appointment. I had asked to see a lady so they had put me in with the doctor I am registered with but have only seen twice. She is Scottish and really not very nice. She made me feel intimidated and having plucked up the courage to go about a 'woman's' problem I really could have done without her 'attitude'. Anyway she is going to refer me to a consultant but made me feel as if I was in the wrong as I did not have private medical insurance nor was I prepared to pay for private treatment and she then had the nerve to ask me if I was a resident!!!! I won't be going to see her again, that's for sure.

I then went into Tauranga and had a coffee and did some shopping and finally managed to find a new nightie similar to the ones I brought with me from the UK and it is very pretty.

I then did my supermarket shop and got home in time to do lunch for Heather who needed a big lunch as she is playing netball straight from work.

After lunch I was just thinking about calling Viv when she called me so I invited her round for a cup of tea and then called Margaret and invited her round too so we enjoyed a nice chat.

When they left I fed the dog and took her for a walk and came back and did the bit of ironing I had and then went onto the computer to try and download the books I had bought for my eReader. I tried for ages and could not do it. Jon came home and tried and he couldn't do it. Heather finally came home after we had had dinner and she couldn't do it but did eventually work it out so I now have three new books ready for my holidays - that will save some weight in the suitcase.

WEATHER
A cold start but sunny and warm later 17 degrees
