I needed to make some biscuits for a morning tea tomorrow and as the mix needs to chill for a few hours I made it before my keep fit class. How organised am I? they say pride comes before a fall - watch this space!

I went to my class and she gave us a really good workout and we were all very puffed out afterwards but it feels good. I stayed for a coffee and a chat. My friend, Ros, told me that she might need to head off to the UK as her 97 year old mother is not so good, very sad for her but 97 is a good age.

I went to the supermarket to buy some food for Wednesday as a friend from the UK is coming to stay overnight. she has been down in the South Island with her daughter and is coming up here on her way back to Auckland, she was one of the witnesses at out wedding.

I got home and backed the biscuits but the mix did not seem right and the brownie biscuits which I have made so many times were not like they should be. I re read the recipe and realised that I had only put in one egg instead of two!!! That will teach me for thinking I am organised. I had to make another mix and then wait for it to chill.

I had arranged a cinema night with the Lions ladies and invited Margaret and we were going to see The Butler. I decided I would have to give my aqua class a miss as the timing was just too tight and I had to bake more biscuits!!

I spent the afternoon catching up with my blog - now up to date and sorting out photos to put on FB. I also phoned the hospital and a few doctors surgeries to see if they want any of these magazines which we have left at the book rooms.

I had a shower and washed my hair and left to go and pick Margaret up just as Jon got home. I was glad he came home as we had just had a big crash of thunder which had set Totty off.

The film was very good and there were ten of us there. I don't think Obama has done as much as the American Blacks were hoping for.

I got home and had some Ryvita for my dinner and then read my book.
