Had a bit of a lie in this morning but as we were going out for breakfast I got up and showered. Shame Bertie didn't have the same idea and so breakfast was very late.
We went to a ne place in Te Puna. The venue was lovely and presentation good but the taste was not so good. That said the coffee was delicious and the muffins looked really good so would go again for coffee and muffin.
We then went to Bethlehem and as it was the first Sunday of the month they had the market on. We found a lovely stone with a kiwi mosaic on and then a lovely mirror picture with a pukeko and we were so happy with what we bought. We just need to find the garden to put them in now!
We went home an took Totty out for her walk - reluctantly on her part.
Jon spent the rest of the afternoon finishing off the new watering system off and I did my iroining.
We had a lovely bbq for dinner. The wind has died down and despite the fireworks going off everywhere we had a lovely dinner.
I need to go to bed now as I have a busy few days before we go to Japan!!
