Saturday -Disney

I had the trots through the night due to the change of food I think so took some loperamide, just as well we had some.

We went for breakfast but I didn't eat much.

We waited to hear from Heather that she had changed hotels and once she had contacted us we went to meet her at a train station and continued to Disney all very smooth!

Heather discovered train passes and how they worked so we all bought one, much better than buying loads of tickets and will avoid problems like yesterday when we bought the wrong ones.

Arrived at Disney and were walking down to ticket office and we heard them say they weren't selling anymore tickets till after 5.00 as it was full!!! First weekend of Christmas decorations and shows, Heather was in shock!!We had to go to Disney Sea instead which is next door. Heather was very disappointed to get to the gate and not go in.

It took us a long time to get our bearings around the park and it did not look much like Disney to begin with. The amount of people was amazing, all of Tokyo I think. We managed one ride before lunch!

We decided, as we were going to be there all-day, on big lunch and snack for dinner which was a good choice as we had the Christmas special lunch at an Italian restaurant in the Mediterranean area of the park. We also saw a Japanese wedding as they arrived on a gondola and it was lovely.

Heather was so cold she had to buy a hoodie - so cold compared to yesterday.

After lunch and a look round the shops we managed to get on some rides, saw a big show and by 8.00 Heather and I had managed a big rollercoaster ride and came out just as the fireworks were on so all pretty good after a slow start.

Finally left the park and had sandwich in a café before getting the train back to Tokyo arriving at our hotel at 11.25 a very long and tiring day.

I had an email from the tour company to say Skytree tower is closed tomorrow due to strong winds what a pain.

Heather emailed to say she hadn't been able to find her hotel as she came out of the station at the wrong exit! All she had done was leave her bags there this morning and she still had to check in. She had to get one of the lads down to pay before she could check in, the hotel would not let them do it for her earlier, very silly, just as well they were still awake!. She has to change again tomorrow poor girl. - three hotels!
