Jon must have felt very rough this morning as he left for work not having had any breakfast, didn't empty the dishwasher or log onto the computer. By the time I got down he had left and so went without a sandwich, too.
Malcolm got up and felt very bad too, that will teach them both that they can't drink like they used to.
I managed to get the washing done and hung out, bed changed and my hair dyed and all before 10.00.
After taking Tot out I helped Heather with some of the things she has to do for the Genera re launch as everything seems to be coming at once.
Malcolm and I went out for a coffee to the garden centre and I did intend to take Malcolm to the local waterfalls but really didn't have time and he seemed happy to lie in the garden and read his book and it was such a lovely day out there with the tide in, too.
I did all the phone calls for Heather checking who is coming but has not RSVPd and it took a long time.
We had lunch in between and then I did my ironing before going over to Bayfair to the dressmaker to pick up my dresses and also to buy some antihistamine as we are sure to get bitten in Oz.
I got back and finished my ironing and then made dinner. Fortunately, I had a pot of spag bol sauce in the freezer so not too much work.
After dinner Heather and I packed so I think I am just about ready. Going for an early night now so we can be away by 9.00. We don't need to check in till 1.00 but as Jon and Malcolm are spending the day in Auckland we are going to be dropped off about 11.30 to give them more time. Jon has a room booked at the Novotel at the airport so Malcolm can get showered and changed before his flight which leaves at half past midnight so they will be able to have dinner before he has to go through. Jon has a meeting in Auckland on Wednesday and hopefully will be back in time to collect Tot. I hope she will be OK on her own all day on Thursday and Friday.
WEATHER
Fine and sunny 25 degrees
