Malcolm arrives

So nice to wake to the sun again!!

I was up and dressed and took Tot out for a walk and after a little bit of dragging she walked.

I cleaned the bathroom and finished my shopping list and got everything ready to take to the tip. Jon came home and changed and then went off to collect Malcolm from Auckland.

I went across to the tip and then into Bayfair where I bumped into Margaret, a neighbour from Te Hono Street and so we went for a coffee and a chat.

I then went and bought a new nightdress, they mostly sell PJ's here so it was a lucky find!!

I then went and followed my shopping list very carefully and did my shopping.

Back home I was more than ready for my lunch and a cuppa.

I cleaned the bathrooms and before I knew it Jon was back with Malcolm!

After the house tour we sat on the deck and had a cuppa and a catch up before I got on with the dinner.

It has been such a lovely day today sunny and no wind. There have been lots of people in the park with kayaks and a very large boat which I thought might get stuck but it was fine, a really nice place to be.

A nice dinner of chicken with rice and peppers and I also managed to bake a lemon and coconut cake!!
